Common stains we can often remove or significantly improve include:
Some stains are more difficult and may depend on the fabric, color, age of the stain, prior cleaning, and whether the item has been previously treated. These include:
Staining or damage caused by chlorine bleach, including Clorox, is usually not reversible. Bleach does not leave a removable stain; it removes or changes the dye, fabric, or material itself.
We stand behind our professional stain removal process. If we cannot remove or significantly improve an eligible stain after a reasonable professional treatment attempt, the cleaning charge for the affected item will be waived, up to a maximum of $20.
This guarantee is limited to a maximum of $20 in waived cleaning charges per household per calendar year.
The waived amount cannot exceed the cleaning charge for the stained item or items.
This guarantee applies only to cleaning charges. It does not cover replacement value, retail value, sentimental value, loss of use, or any other value of the garment or item.
The customer’s only remedy under this Stain Removal Guarantee is a waiver or discount of cleaning charges, up to the stated limit.
To qualify, the stain must be pointed out by the customer at the time of drop-off and noted on the order as eligible for stain removal treatment.
Eligibility may depend on the type of stain, fabric, care label, item condition, prior treatment, and whether the stain can be safely treated.
This guarantee does not apply to bleach damage, discoloration, dye loss, fading, color change, oxidation, sun damage, chemical burns, or fabric damage. These are not removable stains; they are changes to the fabric, dye, or material.
We reserve the right to exclude stains that are old, set-in, previously treated at home, washed, dried, ironed, steamed, treated with stain removers, unidentified, or unsafe to treat without risking damage to the item.
Items with missing, unreadable, incorrect, or conflicting care labels may be excluded from the guarantee or accepted only at the customer’s risk.
For specialty items, including but not limited to wedding gowns, formal wear, designer garments, household items, rugs, curtains, vintage garments, delicate fabrics, or items requiring special handling, the maximum benefit is a $20 discount on cleaning charges.
The Stain Removal Guarantee excludes leather, suede, and fur items.
We reserve the right to decline or stop stain treatment if further treatment may cause color loss, dye bleeding, shrinkage, texture change, fabric weakness, rings, finish damage, trim damage, or other damage.
Eligibility and guarantee amount are determined by Guild Cleaners in good faith based on the type of stain, fabric, care label, item condition, prior treatment, and treatment result.
This Stain Removal Guarantee is separate from any claim for loss or damage and does not expand Guild Cleaners’ liability beyond the stated cleaning-charge waiver.
